Booking terms & conditions

All bookings for courses are accepted under the following conditions:

1. By submitting a booking to JCT, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
2. A booking made online or by booking form constitutes a firm booking which can only be changed as detailed in these terms and conditions.
3. If your organisation requires purchase orders to be used it is your responsibility to ensure JCT receives either payment, or an official purchase order, prior to the courses commencement. If this condition is not met and JCT reasonably believes a course booking has not been properly authorised by a delegates organisation or that there is a reasonable doubt that payment may not be forthcoming for any other reason we reserve the right to refuse attendance at the course.
4. JCT reserve the right to cancel any course that is not viable due to insufficient bookings at any time up to 2 weeks before its commencement.
5. If you cancel a course booking cancellation charges will be based on whether the course place can be resold and on any cancellation charges made by the venue but will not exceed the amounts below.
6. Cancellation by a delegate of all or part of any confirmed booking less than one month before the commencement of the course will incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the total cost of the course and any accommodation booked.
7. Cancellation by a delegate of all or part of any confirmed booking less than fourteen days before the commencement of the course will incur a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the total cost of the course and any accommodation booked.
8. Delegates having booked a place on a course and not attended will incur a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the total cost of the course and any accommodation booked.
9. Delegates may be substituted at any time but any substitutions must be notified to JCT in advance of the commencement of the course.
10. All prices EXCLUDE UK VAT.
11. Where your course or event includes a residential element if this is separately booked on your behalf by JCT an administration fee may apply, this will be clearly marked on your invoice.
