Online Courses Institute of Highway Engineers Professional Development Partnership logo JCT Traffic Signals Skills Hub Rees Jeffreys Road Fund

Our Traffic Signal / Traffic Engineering training courses have been running for many years and many are considered to be industry standard courses. Thousands of engineers have benefited from our courses across the UK and overseas and our training is delivered by highly experienced traffic engineers.

Most of our training courses are approved by the IHE which means they can be used as evidence of CPD for Professional Registration applications.

Public Courses

Our core courses are delivered in quality venues with easy transport access and catering. Comprehensive course notes are included and events are catered. For software courses we provide all required IT. These public courses are available to anyone.

In-House Courses

All our training courses can also be delivered in-house and courses can be customised to meet your individual training needs. JCT supplies trainers and all course materials and if required we can supply computers. In-house courses are always priced on a minimum attendance of six with a small marginal charge for additional attendees, so for larger in-house courses the cost savings per head can be significant.

Online Courses

JCT also offer some LinSig training courses in an online virtual training environment. The online training utilises virtual computers in the cloud which students access via a web browser, so there is no need to be a LinSig license holder or to install LinSig on your own computers. The tutor has full supervision of the virtual desktops, can take control of the virtual desktop and will offer individual help.

Full printed course notes and materials are supplied prior to the course.
Online LinSig courses are offered on public course basis but can be delivered privately to organisations.

JCT’s other training courses such as Introduction to Traffic Signals can also be delivered to individual companies and Local Authorities on a private basis. The private online courses are cost effective for smaller classes.

Self-Paced Courses

Self-Paced courses are provided on JCT’s Traffic Signals Skills Hub. Courses can be accessed at your own convenience and consist of high quality recorded lectures, course exercise material and many courses are supplemented with a live online tutorial. You may book your course and then simply tell us when you want your access to start. Larger courses typically come with 30 consecutive days of access. Skills Hub courses are provided by JCT in association with leading experts in the Traffic Signals field.

IHE Professional Development Partner and IHE Approved Courses

JCT are a Professional Development Partner with the Institute of Highway Engineers and most of our courses are IHE approved giving you confidence that the courses meet the criteria for Continuing Professional Development.
